2. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our service to:

Violate any laws or regulations
Infringe on others' intellectual property rights
Transmit malware or harmful code
Harass, abuse, or harm others
Spam or send unsolicited communications
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems

3. Business Card Scanning Ethics

Appropriate Use of Business Card Scanning:

Business cards are generally intended to be shared and are public information. However, you must exercise good judgment.

3.1 Acceptable Scanning

✅ Business cards given to you directly
✅ Cards from networking events you attended
✅ Cards that are publicly displayed or distributed
✅ Information that is clearly meant to be shared

3.2 Prohibited Scanning

❌ Confidential or private information
❌ Cards marked "Confidential" or "Internal Use Only"
❌ Medical, legal, or financial records
❌ Information you don't have permission to use
❌ Cards obtained through unauthorized means

3.3 The "Reasonable Expectation" Test

Before scanning any business card, ask yourself: "Would the person who gave me this card reasonably expect it might be processed by a third-party AI service?"

If the answer is unclear or "no," do not scan it.

4. Enforcement

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.
